Born and raised in Newfoundland Canada, Josh started out as a competitive gymnast and is certified as a NCCP Level 1 Gymnastics Coach. This gave him the perfect background when he started to work for Club Med on the Circus Team. Josh has traveled all over the world as a flyer, catcher, performer, teacher, manager and has performed professionally with Cirque Sublime on the Russian Swing and as a stuntman. Returning to Newfoundland, Canada he co-founded the Acro-Adix Trapeze School of Acrobatics with his wife Dany. Currently, Josh resides and works in Fort McMurray, Alberta and is a highly skilled Level 3 IRATA (Industrial Rope Access Trade Association) rope access supervisor.
Born and raised in Sao Paulo, Brazil, Dany studied “Capoeira” a Brazilian martial art that combines self-defense with elements of dance, acrobatics and music. She also holds a degree in Hotel Management and can speak four different languages. All these combined skills gave Dany the opportunity to work for Club Med where she found the Circus. Dany is a woman of versatility who can instruct and perform on the single and double trapeze, aerial hoop, spanish web, silks and the Flying Trapeze. For over 10 years she has travelled around the world teaching, performing and sharing her passion with others in these areas. Dany currently resides in Fort McMurray, Alberta with her husband Josh Munden and two daughters. In addition to her qualification as a NCCP Level 1 Gymnastics coach, she is also a skilled Level 1 IRATA rope access technician.
